Process & Payment

This is how we'll work together.

How we get in touch, explained in one minute. You will see how inquiry, proposal and contract work, and how invoicing is handled. Clear, predictable, no surprises.

In five steps

Your path to a proposal

Whether voice recording, podcast production or audio project: every collaboration with companies, independent professionals, institutions and authorities follows the same clear process.

1Get in touch
You describe your project

A free, brief written inquiry via the contact page is enough: project, goal, material available, timeframe and approximate scale.

2Initial assessment
I assess your inquiry personally

I look at your inquiry personally and tell you the appropriate next step for your project.

3Consultation or analysis
Two paths, depending on your needs

A personal project consultation, 60 Euros, about one hour discussing the whole project, a standalone service. For more complex projects: project analysis and proposal preparation from 150 Euros, reviewing material and scripts, structuring the scope and scheduling, credited in full to the project price once commissioned.

4Proposal & contract
You receive a written proposal

Individually prepared, with scope of services, price, schedule and usage rights. The binding contract is concluded through your written or electronic order confirmation.

5Invoice after service
Billing on an invoice basis

The invoice is due within 30 days net from the invoice date, unless agreed otherwise. As a small business under Section 19 of the German VAT Act, I do not show VAT.

Consultation and analysis are standalone services The project consultation does not replace the project analysis. If the same production project is commissioned after a project analysis, I credit the agreed fee in full to the project price.
Public sector clients For institutions, schools, authorities and public sector clients, formal inquiries and, by prior arrangement, alternative billing arrangements are possible.
How billing works

Clearly defined, from proposal to payment term

From the written proposal to the invoice: every step is clearly defined, with no open hourly account and no hidden costs.

For context: As a small business under Section 19 of the German VAT Act, I do not show VAT on any invoice. All amounts stated are final amounts.

Proposal & order confirmation
Individual written proposal
Scope of services, price, schedule and usage rights, clearly stated
  • Prepared after the initial assessment or the project analysis
  • Binding contract only through written or electronic order confirmation
  • Alternatively: binding once I begin the service after you commission it
Invoice after service
Billing on an invoice basis
No automated interim invoice, no hidden line items
  • Invoice after the service has been rendered, prepared personally
  • The prices agreed in the proposal or order confirmation apply
  • For larger productions, advance or instalment payments are possible, agreed in advance
Payment term & tax
30 days net from the invoice date
Unless a different written agreement has been made
  • No VAT, as I am a small business under Section 19 of the German VAT Act
  • Section 6.2 of the Terms applies
