Inquiry, offer & commissioning

This offer is aimed exclusively at companies, independent professionals, freelancers, agencies, institutions, authorities, public law corporations as well as other clients who, when concluding the contract, act in the exercise of their commercial or independent professional activity (Section 14 BGB).

Important: Contract conclusions via this business page are intended exclusively in the B2B area.

You can inquire about your project directly via the contact page. The following information is particularly helpful for a quick assessment:

  • Type of project, for example voiceover, podcast, e-learning, image film or telephone announcement
  • Desired scope and target date
  • Required formats and area of application
  • Existing texts, scripts or references
  • Special requirements regarding release, data protection or confidentiality

The express review is intended for projects with a fixed publication date, an internal deadline, a short term release, a campaign launch or another time critical occasion.

I check whether additional time windows, short term gaps, edge times or special scheduling within the existing project calendar are possible. However, this review does not mean automatic immediate confirmation.

A specific appointment, delivery period or prioritized implementation becomes binding only after personal review and confirmation. The calculation takes place individually based on effort, urgency and actual availability.

Important: Please mention the desired delivery date, the reason for urgency, the project scope and all relevant approval channels when inquiring. This way I can realistically check whether an express implementation is reasonably possible.

Yes. For B2B projects I create an individual offer or cost estimate on request. The specific scope of services then results from the offer, contract or order confirmation.

A binding contract is only concluded through my written or electronic order confirmation or by my beginning the service after your written or electronic commissioning.

Oral or telephone agreements only become binding once they have been confirmed in writing or electronically. For clean project handling I always recommend a short written summary.

The range of services includes among others:

  • Voice recordings and voiceovers
  • Telephone announcements and on hold music
  • E-learning audio production
  • Audio for image films, explainer videos and commercials
  • Podcast productions
  • Audio post production, post recording and sound design
  • Mixing, mastering and audio editing
  • Remote productions and online sessions
  • Workshops and training in the audio area

Appointments, process & organization

The process is usually clearly structured:

  • Inquiry and needs assessment
  • Offer and commissioning
  • Transmission of scripts, files and project information
  • Production or recording appointment
  • Provision for review and release
  • Finalization and handover of the final files

Appointments confirmed in writing are binding for both sides. Changes and postponements must also be communicated in writing or electronically and confirmed by me.

Appointments can be cancelled or postponed in writing or electronically free of charge up to 3 working days before the start.

For later cancellations, the following cancellation flat rates apply:

  • 48 to 72 hours before appointment: 50 % of the agreed fee
  • Less than 48 hours before appointment or non appearance: 100 % of the agreed fee
Important: Already prepared services or bindingly arranged external services will be charged in any case, insofar as they have already arisen.

In the case of unannounced delay, the reserved studio time or production time is calculated from the agreed appointment. A short notice in advance helps to manage the process as best as possible.

In case of force majeure, illness, power failure, technical disruptions or comparable events for which I am not responsible, appointment postponements or deadline extensions may occur. In such cases I will inform you as quickly as possible and we will find a practical solution.

Yes. Remote productions, online sessions and digital approval processes are easily possible. In remote projects, the responsibility for functioning hardware, software, internet connection and local data backup lies with the client.

Files, material & formats

The transmission generally takes place digitally via an agreed transmission path. If the customer does not have their own secure path, I can provide a password protected cloud storage on a secured server in Germany for companies, independent professionals and public institutions. This way the data exchange remains traceable, structured and confidential.

Yes. If the customer does not have their own secure transmission path, I can provide a password protected cloud storage on a secured server in Germany for companies, independent professionals and public institutions. This way sensitive files can be transferred confidentially and provided via a server location in Germany.

Note: No external data carriers such as USB sticks or hard drives are accepted on site. Provision instead takes place digitally via an agreed transmission path or via the protected cloud storage I provide.

All materials, scripts, texts, information, releases and access required for the project should be available in full at the latest 14 days before the agreed production date, unless otherwise agreed.

The final files can be provided in common audio formats, for example WAV or MP3. If you have specific technical specifications for broadcast, internal systems, telephone systems, learning platforms or distribution channels, these should be clearly stated before production starts.

You are responsible for ensuring that provided content is legally permissible, complete, technically usable and free of third party rights or that corresponding rights have been effectively obtained.

Important: Content such as texts, music, logos, samples or other third party materials should only be used if all rights have been clarified.

The obligation to retain project data and recordings generally ends after 12 months from the start of production, unless a longer period has been agreed in writing.

After that, data can be deleted without further notice.

Recommendation: Please always additionally back up final files in your own infrastructure.

Release, acceptance & corrections

Provided services and project results are to be reviewed without delay after receipt. At the latest within 10 working days, you should either expressly accept the service or notify identified defects in writing and specifically.

Acceptance is also considered to have taken place if no written notice of defects is received within the deadline or if the results are already productively used, published, distributed or internally further processed.

Recognizable defects must be reported in writing and as specifically as possible at the latest within 5 working days after provision or acceptance. Flat rate notes without a comprehensible description are not sufficient for proper review.

Included in the price is only what was expressly agreed in the offer or in the description of services. Revisions and correction loops are only included if they are clearly mentioned there.

Change requests that go beyond the agreed scope of services are charged separately. Before starting, I will inform you about the expected additional effort. The release for this should be given in writing or electronically.

Invoice, payment & due date

Settlement is generally made on an invoice basis. The prices agreed in the offer, contract or order confirmation apply. As a small business within the meaning of Section 19 UStG, I do not show VAT.

Invoices are due net within 14 days from the invoice date, unless a different written agreement has been made.

Yes. For larger productions, rush orders or increased effort, I can request a reasonable advance payment or staggered instalment payments. This is clearly defined in the offer or in the order confirmation.

Final results, export files, releases and the granting of usage rights generally only take place after full payment of the agreed remuneration.

Invoice complaints should be communicated in writing within 8 days after receipt of the invoice.

Usage rights, NDA, DPA & legal

After full payment, you generally receive a simple right of use to the final results for the purpose defined in the order or offer, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Yes. Exclusive rights of use, rights of use extended in time or space, or rights transferable to third parties can be agreed separately. In this case, the remuneration is adjusted accordingly.

The clarification of all rights to provided texts, music tracks, samples, trademarks, logos, images or other third party content lies entirely with the client.

Yes. For sensitive projects, an individual non disclosure agreement can be concluded before the start of production. On request I am happy to work on an NDA basis.

No. I deliver professional audio production and clean implementation, but I cannot guarantee a specific economic, communicative, technical or strategic success unless this has been expressly agreed in writing.
