Complete studio technology.
Neumann microphones, high quality preamps from Focusrite and Avalon, professional monitoring environments, two DAWs and an extensive plugin selection. The equipment is not only available, but in daily use and designed for a reliable production routine.
For voice and instruments, only Neumann microphones are used, the international reference standard in broadcasting, film and recording studio. The U 87 Ai as a large diaphragm condenser microphone for voice and vocals, the M147 Tube with warm tube character, the KM 184 as a precise small diaphragm stereo set for instruments and room recordings, and the KMS 104 as a robust vocal and stage microphone. Each microphone is selected for its specific area of use and permanently available in the studio, for broadcast ready recordings at a consistent quality level.
The analog signal chain is deliberately built up high quality and versatile. The Avalon AD 2022 Dual Channel Preamp in pure Class A circuit delivers transparent, open sound with large headroom, the Focusrite ISA 430 MKII as a legendary channel strip and the Drawmer 1968 MK II as a tube FET bus compressor provide musical dynamic control in mixing and mastering. The Schippmann Ebbe und Flut adds character as a German analog filter. Complemented by RME converter technology at reference level and Furman power conditioning, a stable, low noise working environment for recording, mixing and monitoring is created.
For production and audio post production, two leading Digital Audio Workstations are available in parallel. Ableton Live 11 for music production, creative work and live use as well as Pro Tools Studio as the industry standard for voice recordings, dialogue editing and audio post production. Sonarworks Reference 4 calibrates monitor and headphone playback by measurement, TotalMix FX manages the signal flows of the RME converter technology latency free in real time. This provides a flexible and reliable basis for every production scenario.
Monitoring takes place via KRK VXT 8 as active two way near field monitors with 180 watt bi amping, 8 inch Kevlar woofer and silk dome tweeter, supplemented by the KRK 12S2 subwoofer for low frequency control. For detailed headphone work, Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO in closed design for recordings with crosstalk protection, Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO as open dynamic headphones for mix and longer editing sessions, and the HIFIMAN Sundara with planar magnetic drivers for particularly precise transients and linear bass reproduction in critical mix and mastering are available. The combination ensures reliable assessability of frequency response, stereo image and dynamics across several independent monitoring systems.
For music production, performance and expressive playing, various controllers are available. The Doepfer LMK 2+ is an 88 key master keyboard with weighted hammer action and piano like playing feel for software instruments, Ableton Push 2 offers direct hardware control for Ableton Live with a tactile workflow, Faderfox MX12 and Novation Impulse 49 complement mix, parameter and MIDI functions for specialized workflows. This makes playing, arranging and DAW operation ergonomic and precise.
In addition to the electronic technology, a collection of acoustic and electronic instruments is available, which can be spontaneously integrated into productions. An over one hundred year old piano, the Dave Smith Prophet as an analog synthesizer classic, an Elektron drum machine as well as various hand and string instruments such as accordion, acoustic guitar, kalimba, violin zither, bongos, cajón and melodica expand the sonic possibilities. This makes it possible to spontaneously record real textures, atmospheres and overdubs without additional rental or appointment costs.

Beyond the hardware, an extensive collection of professional plugins is in use. Every tool is specifically selected for its area of application and daily proven in production, editing and audio post production.
For professional voice recordings, podcasts, commercials, music productions and audio post production, 172 plugins with over 220 active licenses are available. The tools are grouped by area of use and expandable on demand, so the section stays clear while still showing the available technical depth for editing, restoration, mixing, mastering, sound design and instrumentation.
